MID49 has unveiled new TWIST Mount Spuds for the Sony FX6 and VENICE/VENICE 2.
Sony 15mm Rod Clamp and TWIST Mount Kit for FX6 $299 USD
The Sony 15mm Rod Clamp and TWIST Mount Kit for FX6 combines the Sony FX6 15mm Rod Clamp, Double-sided NATO Rail, Knuckle, and Spud for the Sony FX6.
The kit attaches via the Sony FX6’s handle 1/4-20s with locating pin holes adjacent and provides a sideways 15mm rod clamp.
Attaching the FX6 monitor to the TWIST Spud prevents monitor “flop” when using third-party EVF loupes and still maintains the ability to fold the screen for travel.
The TWIST Mount EVF Knuckle has a NATO clamp on one end and a variable friction 15mm mount on the other. With the variable friction design, you can grab and twist the monitor without loosening the thumbscrew.
The double-sided NATO rail has built-in variable friction via the thumbscrew, and safety pins are on each end to prevent accidental accessory removal.
