Deity at IBC 2025 has introduced the PR-4. It’s a compact, forward-facing recorder that works well when mounted on a camera or desktop for documentary, ENG, and video creator workflows. It delivers 32-bit float performance, 4 inputs / 6 tracks, with wired SMPTE LTC/ATC and wireless timecode support for DEITY’s ecosystem, as well as Sidus App control for integrated full wireless remote control.
PR-6 Prototype
The PR-6 is a portable, foward-facing recorder for Documentary, ENG, and Video productions—delivering 32-bit float performance, 6 inputs / 10 tracks, SMPTE LTC/ATC plus wireless timecode for DEITY’s ecosystem, and Sidus App control for integrated full wireless remote control. The PR-6 is still a prototype and very little info is avaiable.

The PR-2 can capture dialog and effects in 32-bit float at up to 192 kHz with adjustable gain/fader, low-cut (Off/75/150 Hz), and auto-save on power loss. Arm/disarm any of the 4 channels or change your mix routing; Along with Automix, which helps keep all under control.
Internal Recording Plus MicroSD

The PR-4 features 64 GB internal solid-state storage + SD expansion up to 512 GB. This dual path recording method allows for you to have an instant backup. Embedded solid-state flash was chosen for shock resistance, power efficiency, and sufficient sustained write performance for multitrack 32-bit/192 kHz recording—with margin to spare.
Better Battery Option With NP Type

The PR-4 uses an internal NP-F550 type battery that can be recharged via the USB-C port on the side of the unit. It can also run off the USB-C port, making external power options cheap and readily available.
For professionals looking to integrate the PR-4 into a larger setup, a 4-Pin Push-Pull Power port is available on the other side of the unit, compatible with the SPD-1, SPD-Mini, or direct power from the S-95 can be supplied using the SPD-HRBatt.
Mounting Options
Under and on top of the PR-4 are dual Arri-style 1/4″ 20 mounts with locating pins, providing a secure mounting option for your camera or cage, or for adding devices on top, such as a microphone. A simple cold shoe receiver can easily be added. You have options!
Master Timecode
Timecode jam a camera and/or other gear with SMPTE LTC/ATC over TRS—in/out.
Accuracy target: <1 frame / 72 h.
Or wirelessly sync using the onboard Peer-2-peer 2.4G transmitter built into the TC-1/TC-SL1 or via the Sidus Audio App.
Pricing and Availability
Andrew alluded that the PR-4 will be aggressively priced just like other Deity prices. Release dates coming soon.
The PR-4 looks like a good option as a field recorder for both camera or cage mounting, and 32-bit float recording sweetens the pot.
