Atomos Technology Preview of the Pro 2710 Color Grading Monitor IBC 2025

At IBC 2025, Atomos showed a Technology Preview of their all-new Pro 2710 Color Grading Monitor. Atomos recently acquired the eCinema monitor company and its technology to create a high-quality 27″ HDR true 10-bit color grading monitor at a more affordable price under $10,000. True 10-bit, not 10-bit FRC, which are very expensive to produce and are the industry standard.

The Pro 2710 features LED lighting on the back, as well as lights on the bottom, to help you see your scripts and work area on your desk more clearly. Most color grading suites are dimly lit, and these lights help enhance the color grading experience.

The monitor features a calibrator to ensure the image remains in tune for precise color grading, as well as measures the environment the monitor is being used in.

The Pro 2710 is still in prototype, but Atomos is confident it can price the new grading display under $10,000 USD.

I can see in the future the new technology they have acquired to reach their current line-up of 5″ and 7″ products.

Atomos is shooting to deliver the new monitor around NAB 2026 in April.
