Canon has launched the RF75-300mm F4-5.6 lens and the EOS R100 Double Zoom Kit that comes with the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens and the Canon RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Lens.
This lightweight, ultra-telephoto zoom lens delivers up to 480mm reach (35mm equivalent) and is tailor-made for those stepping up from smartphones who want to capture sports, wildlife, live events, and more. Paired with Canon’s most compact EOS R camera to date, this looks to be a decent option for budget-conscious creatives.

The RF 75-300mm features a variable f/4-5.6 maximum aperture to maintain a small relative form factor, including a filter thread diameter of just 58mm. It is also lightweight at a little over 1 lb. It uses a DC autofocus motor to capture subjects in sharp focus and has a 4.9′ minimum focus distance with a 0.25x maximum magnification for getting nice, close-up images.
Optically, the lens is optimized for sharpness, and there is a Super Spectra Coating to reduce flare and improve contrast. For smooth bokeh, it has a 7-blade aperture diaphragm.
The Canon EOS R100 camera is Canon’s most affordable, compact, and lightweight EOS R camera. It was designed for new, first-time mirrorless camera or existing interchangeable camera users who previously enjoyed EOS Rebel or EOS M cameras.
