SmallRig has announced its new RM 03 Macro Photography LED Light. As the name suggests, this small light was made specifically for capturing macro shots. It looks like it could be a decent solution when using probe lenses for certain shots; however, it does have its limitations.
According to SmallRig, it was engineered with a high-strength metal spring that can withstand 4,000+ bends without play or deformation.

The light includes a diffuser, a four-leaf barndoor, and a spotlight for light shaping, along with a heavy-duty clamp, a ground stake, and a cold shoe mount.
It features an IP54 weatherproof construction to withstand wind, rain, and dust.
The light is powered via an internal 3.7V / 2000mAh / 7.4Wh battery, which will run it at full power for up to 140 minutes; however, you can attach it to a USB-C power source you can get it to run longer, while also charging the internal battery.
There are five 3W LEDs in the lamp head, but it appears it can only be set to 5 different colors and 5 different brightness levels. You can, however, adjust the beam angle from 4 to 32°.
