At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, Viltrox was showing new Air, EVO, & PRO Series lenses that have yet to be released.
The two new lenses in the Air series are the AF 9mm F2.8 E/Z; AF 14mm 4.0 FE. These are incredibly small and lightweight lenses that cover APS-C-sized sensors and full-frame sensors, respectively. The AF 9mm F2.8 is available in Sony E and Nikon Z mounts, and the AF 14mm 4.0 FE is only available in Sony E mount.
The AF 14mm 4.0 FE has a minimum focusing distance of 13cm, and it weighs 170g.
The AF 9mm F2.8 E/Z weighs 190g, and it also has a minimum focusing distance of 13cm. Both lenses have a 58mm front filter diameter.
The first lens in the EVO series is the AF 85mm F2.0 FE. The EVO series is designed to sit between the Air and LAB series in Viltrox’s line-up. Just like the LAB series, the EVO series features a clickless aperture, which makes it easier to use for video work.
The upcoming PRO Series AF 50mm F1.4 FE will join the recently announced AF 85mm F1.4 FE.
