Angénieux has announced that at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, they will demonstrate, for the first time, their 65mm version of the Optimo Ultra 12x, which fully covers the 65mm sensor of the ARRI ALEXA 265 camera.
I don’t have any further details about the lens at this stage.
Anyone attending IBC can go to the Angénieux booth (F30 Hall 12) to get hands-on with the Optimo Ultra 12x 65mm, which will be on display with the only ALEXA 265 on the IBC show floor.
