Viltrox has released its new AF 56mm F1.2 Pro APS-C lens that is available in Sony E and Fuji XF mounts.. The AF 56mm F1.2 Pro lens’ professional-grade optical design is claimed to deliver high resolution from center to edge, taking full advantage of the capabilities of higher-megapixel cameras.

Viltrox states that even after extensive post-cropping or enlargement, the lens preserves image detail, with incredible sharpness and clarity.
Optical Design
The optical design consists of 13 elements in 8 groups, and it is claimed to provide good aberration control and reduce onion ring bokeh, even at an aperture of 1.2. The ultra-large precision aspherical lens works in conjunction with an ED (extra-low dispersion) lens, which is claimed to effectively correct axial chromatic aberration, delivering crisp, color-fringe-free images. The 3 HR (High-refractive) elements strike a good balance of portability and optical performance, making this lens a natural fit for compact APS-C camera systems.
HyperVCM motor
Viltrox’s patented HyperVCM motor provides faster and more precise focusing, while reducing vibration for smooth, silent performance – ideal for quickly capturing shots, and for fast-moving subjects. The silent operation and minimal focus breathing make it a good choice for shooting video.
