At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, DULENS was showing its new 24mm and 32mm APO Cambrian Medium Format Cine Lenses. The series will now also be available in a metallic silver color.
DULENS unveiled its new APO Cambrian Prime series back at NAB 2025. They are a set of compact Medium Format lenses that range from 21-105mm. They all have a T2 aperture.
The new lenses will be available in 6 focal lengths:
- 24mm T2
- 32mm T2
- 40mm T4
- 55mm T2
- 77mm T2
- 100mm T2
DULENS has been working on these lenses for the last 2.5 years.
They will all cover the ARRI ALEXA 65 and 265, as well as other cameras like the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55 and Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 17K.

The average weight of the lenses is only 750g / 1.65 lbs, which makes them around 50% lighter than the Leica Thalia series.
According to DULENS, they maintain an average MTF exceeding 70% at 40lp/mm, and all primes show minimal chromatic aberration and have well-controlled breathing.
The look of the lenses is said to be a bit more modern than their previous offerings, but they will still have a vintage feel. The coatings are similar to the ones used on the Mini APO Primes, but they have reduced some of the ghosting.
The lenses are only available in PL mount, but there will be an EF mount coming in the future.
The lenses have an 80mm front diameter, and they will take 72mm front filters. DULENS also has a 2x Characteristic Filters set, as well as other rear and front filters coming.
