At IBC 2025, FILMTAPE was showing its new QuickCart. What I found interesting is how quickly it is to set up. The four main supports fold down, and the top lies flat on the bottom base. Done. This is a nice feature for users who need a very solid production cart with no setup. Most carts have several parts that need to be assembled, which can take time, and there is a potential issue of losing parts. Not the case with the QuickCart

Its robust construction supports up to 600 kg of gear, and the large wheels make it easy to handle uneven terrain. When the shoot wraps, you can fold it down and fit it into a regular car with no hassle.
You can choose a custom RAL frame color to match your brand or gear.
FILMTAPE can also laser-engrave your company logo or production name on the side panels. The top surface is also customizable — non-slip rubber, carpet, or other materials available on request. I do like the rubber surface as it will help grip the gear better than carpet when pushing the cart around, and it is easier to keep clean if, God forbid, someone spills a cup of coffee on it.
QuickCart is an excellent design cart for camera assistants, DITs, sound crews, grips, and production teams.
Instead of adding a bunch of ARRI mounting points around the art, they created a slotted rail that can be used to mount your kit to. They will supply the dimensions of this rail, so you can create 3D-printed custom mounts and clamps. Coming soon is a new line of mounting options, which can also be customized for you.
The color can also be customized.
