At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, Teradek was showing its Prism JetPack, an all-in-one 5G video contribution backpack that was purpose-built for remote production, live news, sports, etc.
It looks to be a good solution if you need to transmit live video in crowded, remote, or unpredictable environments.

Prism JetPack is equipped with 8 high-performance 5G modems, a custom antenna array, and support for 2 additional Ethernet or satellite connections, such as Starlink.
Jetpack’s camera-to-cloud capabilities also help to deliver material to your post team faster, as you are able to upload files over a bonded network connection.
One of the key features is the detachable 7-inch 1200nit screen with a built-in sunhood.
The screen can be used for both monitoring and control. With the screen, you can monitor feeds, control connectivity, configure settings, and review program return.
The monitor features SmallHD’s PageOS, so there is a full suite of video assist tools for framing, focus, exposure, etc.
The custom-built backpack from Lowepro is claimed to provide all-day comfort and durability with space for extra gear storage. It also comes with an all-weather rain cover.
As far as powering is concerned, you can get 2+ hours of internal battery life, plus you can utilize a hot-swappable external power, such as a V-mount or Gold Mount battery.
If you happen to have your JetPack stolen or you leave it behind somewhere, you can use the Find My Jetpack function, which takes advantage of an integrated GPS. There is also a low-power Mode, so you can utilize the JetPack for extended periods without worrying about battery life.
