MASV today announced updates that redefine what a modern large file transfer and orchestration platform should deliver. This new set of features improves speed, reliability, security, and ease of use, enabling customers and partners to move and monetize their content across sports, news, live production, broadcast, post-production, and corporate workflows with greater efficiency and control.

  • MASV Express with Storage Gateway – near real-time file delivery while transfers are still in progress.
  • Zipless Downloads – skip the zip/unzip hassle for faster, install-free browser transfers.
  • Smart Routing with Custom Metadata – automate file distribution with zero manual steps.
  • File Transfer Embedded into Preferred Apps – send and receive directly inside leading creative tools.
  • Enhanced Security & Visibility – SSO-protected downloads, live upload tracking, and a central activity feed.

Part of the second phase of its 2025 innovation roadmap, highlights include MASV Express with Storage Gateway for near real-time delivery to cloud or on-prem storage, Smart Routing with Custom Metadata for automated file distribution, in-app transfers with leading creative tools, and unmatched monitoring and observability to give teams complete visibility into package activity and uploads.

MASV is doubling down on speed and efficiency. The company’s latest product updates increase workflow efficiency and provide faster access to data.

  • MASV Express with Storage Gateway: For teams where every moment counts, MASV Express transfers files while the upload is still in progress, providing near real-time availability of individual files and minimizing wait time on transfer completion. At IBC, MASV will preview new Express features and capabilities, including support by the MASV Desktop App and MASV Agent, as well as the ability to deliver to on-prem and cloud-based storage devices such as Amazon EBS and FSx.
  • Zipless Downloads: Users can now skip the zip-download-unzip cycle when downloading from a web browser, enabling a faster, more flexible user experience while preserving folder structures, all with zero installs required.

MASV’s new management and automation tools streamline workflows, providing greater reliability and control.

  • Smart, Automated Routing with Custom Metadata: Teams can dynamically route transfers to one or more desired destinations by leveraging metadata collected in a MASV Portal’s Custom Form, eliminating the need for manual file movement post-transfer.

MASV’s robust API-first architecture enables customers and partners to integrate MASV quickly and easily, enabling ultra-efficient interoperability across their chosen media ecosystem.

  • Embedded in Your Favorite Tools: Users can now ingest, transfer, and offload files directly from applications they already use, eliminating friction and saving time by integrating large file transfers seamlessly into existing creative workflows.
  • API Key Management for Admins: A major win for enterprise customers, this allows administrators to create and manage their own API keys, providing a new level of control and autonomy without needing to involve the team owner for every request.
  • Growing Ecosystem: New and upcoming integrations with FilmLight, The Rebel Fleet, SGO, Iconik, OWC, Qumulo, and Imagine Products.

MASV is setting a new standard for security and compliance with enhanced monitoring and access controls.

  • Role-based Access to S3: Users will have more flexibility when managing access to their Amazon S3 storage, with the option to choose between IAM role-based or key-based access methods.
  • Unmatched Monitoring and Observability: With the introduction of the Package Activity Feed, team owners and admins can now monitor all package activity in one central location, with the ability to view, sort, and filter activity by Portal, Teamspace, date range, and more. For enterprise customers, Live Upload Tracking provides a complete picture of all in-progress Portal uploads, including those initiated in a browser, which is particularly valuable for tracking uploads from freelancers or content providers.
  • More Download Link Protection: Admins can now require users to authenticate with SSO/SAML before accessing a MASV download link, providing a new layer of user access control.

IBC2025 attendees can experience how MASV’s innovative platform can increase efficiency, provide greater control, easily integrate into their workflow, and provide best-in-class security at stand 1.B01.
